New Zealand Mixed Doubles Qualifying Competition. This competition is used to short list the top mixed doubles teams. Mixed Doubles Final is held later in the year to confirm selection for teams who will represent New Zealand at international competitions.

New Zealand Seniors play a friendly tournament. Winning team of this tournament is usually selected for international Senior competitions.

Secondary teams from across the country compete is a friendly competiton.

Selectors often pay close attention to who plays well in this competition and select competitors for specialized training camps overseas and international youth competitions.
